  12.      On Thursday, May 13, l983 at 4:30 P.M., in the employee
  13. cafeteria.  As you know, Chris has been with the company for
  14. 30 years now, and has been held in high regard by his fellow
  15. workers.

  17.      I am requesting that each employee donate $10.00 so that
  18. we might present to Chris a gift memorializing his time spent
  19. with our fine company.  We are at this time undecided on the
  20. type of gift, and your suggestions are therefore encouraged.
